This year our New Mexico Wing Conference will be held at the Macey Conference Center located on the New Mexico Tech Campus in Socorro, New Mexico, on October 14 and 15, 2022 (Friday afternoon and Saturday). This year's event will include a cadet social/dance, presentations, demonstrations, and a formal banquet to honor our CAP members.
On Oct. 14 from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m., we will have a Commander's Reception in Macey Center's upper lobby. This will allow everyone to check-in, greet Col. Peters and her staff, and socialize with attendees. The Cadet dance will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Oct. 14 on the stage within Macey Center. On Oct. 15, we will start at 0730 for a General session followed by breakout sessions and demonstrations, and end with the formal banquet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. More detailed information will be provided as the schedule is finalized.
Lunch will be provided for conference atendees.
Rooms have been blocked within the Holiday Inn and Best Western under CAP. Ask for the Government rate of $96.00 per night, plus tax, for October 14 and 15, 2022. They usually charge $10.00 per night for additional persons. Please let us know if you need a room so we can plan ahead if we need more rooms. Please don’t forget to reserve your hotel room. Rooms will be dropped by the hotels starting Sept. 14, 2022.
